Over all my review is a good one. This kit from Hard Candy can be found at Walmart. It is still relatively new and many people have pointed out that the packaging is very similar to the style of Too Faced palettes. It is even shown on the back that each row can be divided up into day, evening, or drama just like the Too Faced palettes say you can use each row for a look. I only purchased this one, but there are a few others. The packaging is a metal tin with a hinge and a magnetic closure. It feels sturdy and I personally don't like to travel with high end make up so a kit like this is ideal. I like the shadows. They blend nicely and lasted throughout the day. They aren't dry and I enjoyed using them. You could go straight across and use each row as an individual trio. The second row might be hard to use on it's own since the first and second colors are pretty similar. The palette over all though has a nice mixture of mattes (4) and shimmer (5). For me personally the darkest brown is enough to darken the outer V or use to smudge on the lower lash line, but others might be disappointed to see a lack of a black shade included in this palette. The eye primer worked well, but keep in mind I have dry skin so oily lids tend not to be a problem for me. It's a tinted primer and will help to cover some eyelid discoloration. The eyeliner smudged out of my waterline and formed that lovely smudgy look on my inner and outer corners... I would recommend keeping it to the upper lash line to avoid disaster. The sponge tip applicator is a perfectly usable tool and to be honest I'm happy to get that versus what could have turned out to be a scratchy little brush. The mirror is not the greatest size compared to how much room the look card takes up, but is usable. The card includes a diagram of the name of each color and a paint by numbers type of diagram for a day, drama, and evening look. All in all this kit is a nice little bundle for only $8.00 and for the price I think its worth checking out.
