Fotd

This was my face of the day to work the other day. One of my male coworkers complimented me and then said that I reminded him of a Disney villain in the best possible way. I thought it was pretty funny. Anyhow, here are the pictures... I took some at my vanity and also outside, but I still think the colors don't show up very well. My photography skills need some work guys! Any tips are very welcome :)

That's Lola in the background. She sometimes assists with my getting ready process so stay tuned for that!

Who doesn't love a car selfie or two?

Now on to products used. I seriously could not believe how many things I used... I think it's kind of like when you start keeping a food journal and you realize how much you really eat in a day except with makeup.
On the lid I used Nars e/s in the color Strada, for the inner corner the Loreal Infallible e/s in 341 Strawberry Blonde, in the crease and outer v I used Urban from the Electric palette, and for my brow highlight I used Buff from the Lorac Pro 2 palette.

The brushes from left to right... fine crease brush from Essence of Beauty (CVS) for my inner corner color.  Sonia Kashuk (Target) for packing color on the lid. Eco Tools (Ulta) for placing outer v and crease color. Shany (Amazon) for brow highlight. And finally a big fluffy flawless concealer brush from e.l.f (Kmart) for blending.

For my face I started with Maybelline baby skin for my primer. Then I concealed with Maybelline fit me concealer in the shade fair. I set my under eye with e.l.f high definition undereye setting powder. I then used IT cosmetics celebration foundation illumination in the shade light all over. I used NYC bronzer in sunny and Milani blush in the shade luminoso. For my highlight I used Bonne Bell Blend' n glow sun kissed face powder.

For my face brushes these are some of my staples. From left to right... SOHO blush brush (Wal-mart), Eco Tools angled brush for my bronzer (Wal-mart) , Real Techniques contour brush (Ulta) for my undereye powder, IT cosmetics airbrush blurring concealer #103 (Ulta) , IT cosmetics airbrush buffing foundation #110 (Ulta), and finally this mouthful the IT cosmetics Heavenly Luxe double airbrush foundation brush (QVC- only costs about 5 more dollars to get this brush and the illumination foundation than the foundation costs itself!)
This is my favorite mascara of the moment (Maybelline Lash Sensational). I love that you can build and build the length. Loreal carbon black Lineur Intense has been my number one eyeliner since forever.

Last but not least I used this Sonia Kashuk lipstick in sheer pink lust. (Super comfy to wear in dry winter weather)

And that wraps up my first post and my first FOTD! How did I do? I plan to work on photo quality, but I think there is a bit of a learning curve to that.

Thanks for reading!
Until Next Time Lovely Mermaids :)
