Today is going to be a review of the e.l.f. lip exfoliator. I'll say right off that it isn't my favorite way to smooth out my lips. My usual technique is to brush my lips with a toothbrush and then scrub them with a fairly rough wash cloth. Then I slather on some vaseline to replenish after that harsh treatment. It's not glamorous, but it makes my lips ridiculously soft and I love it. This, on the other hand, just barely seems to do anything compared to my way. It looks nice and rough and it feels like it should really be doing something, but then when I rub my lips together I don't feel much difference. On the plus side, when you lick your lips afterward it tastes slightly sweet and nothing really is left behind. In other words, this is no muss, no fuss. So my final thought is that this is probably good for someone who wants a gentle exfoliation and nothing too harsh, but you should also know that you might not end up with the baby soft lips you expect.
